There is a belief that God and psychics do not mix…that the psychic-medium deals in the realm of the devil himself, and the Bible forbids consulting ghosts, familiar spirits, or the dead, divination, sorcery, or casting spells.
Many professional psychic-mediums believe that we incorporate God—not the devil—in the act of psychic-medium communication to serve people. Many psychic-mediums may not formally or outwardly state their belief in Christianity as the new age community has replaced the name "God" with Infinite Intelligence, Universal or Cosmic Consciousness, Great Spirit, All That Is, etc. But God is there, nonetheless.
We have a spiritual understanding that includes God and our divine ability that seeks knowledge from the communion with the seen and unseen, the physical and spiritual--aka consciousness--of those living and those who have lived. And we can say it is a covenant with God—a serious agreement and honest commitment—to engage our highest efforts in an ethical and truthful interpretation as a service to others, providing comfort in times of grief, stress, confusion, and challenge.
In simple terms, psychic-mediums open to the Highest wisdom, most often stated in an opening prayer to essentially ”give me the words You want to say” for the highest, best, and benefit of the client.
As God is in the service of psychic-mediumship, qualities such as love, compassion, and truth are part of the reading as is the Wisdom of insight, clarity, and perspective. And as such, the conversation with a psychic-medium is about life, hope, and compassion and not about negative entities, attachments, blocked chakras, or empty platitudes which are more about the reader’s interpretation than the Source of the information. If your psychic-medium reading is more about negative attachments, low vibration energies and fantasy and less about the connection to you and/or your loved ones passed, it is not a God-based reading.
Additionally, God is expressed through maintaining a person’s divine sovereignty of free will and choice, and therefore readings provide guidance, not instructions of “you should” or “you need to,” allowing the client to engage in their highest expression in making and taking responsibility in their life.
We do not intend to change the spiritual beliefs of others, including their adherence to Bible texts. We do affirm, however, our belief that God is the source of our natural ability of sharing this is in service of others. We do so with the Spirit of God and the spirit of the connection of soul-to-soul, whether living or passed. In this way, God is right where God is supposed to be...and definitely part of the psychic-medium world.
