Loved Ones Passed and the Sun

People of faith and people who have experienced psychic-medium connection often share one comforting belief: our loved ones who have passed are still there—and they are okay.

The ways in which we arrive at that belief may be different. Faith may bring comfort through the understanding that life continues beyond physical death. Psychic-medium experiences may offer moments of connection that affirm the same possibility. Yet, both can lead us to something profoundly comforting:

Love does not simply disappear.

And perhaps that is why some of the most frequently asked questions during a psychic-medium reading are:

Are they okay?
Are they still with me?
Can they hear me?

As professional psychic-mediums, our responsibility is to facilitate that conversation with evidence and information that may provide comfort and recognition. A point of proof might include something a loved one enjoyed, a shared memory, a recent event within the family, or even a conversation the client had about them after their passing.

Those moments can be powerful because they offer the recognition that the relationship may continue—even though it has changed.

But let’s go back to the beginning.

Do they hear us?

We believe they do.  They hear you when you speak their name.  They hear you when you tell them about your day. They hear you when you sit quietly and simply think of them. And they hear you when there are no words at all.

A psychic-medium reading does not necessarily create that connection. Rather, it may help us recognize and participate in a connection that has been there all along.

Think of the sun.

We know the sun is still shining even when clouds fill the sky. We may not see it. We may not feel its warmth in that particular moment. The storm may be so heavy that we wonder if the sun is anywhere to be found.

But we know it is there.

Our loved ones who have passed may be much the same.

Their way of being may transcend the physical limitations through which we experience time, distance, and presence. We may not always receive an answer. We may not always recognize a sign. We may not always have the experience we hoped for.

But the absence of a sign does not necessarily mean the absence of love.

If a psychic-medium can sense their presence and offer a point of proof that brings recognition, then perhaps the greater comfort is in remembering this:

They were there before the reading.
They are there during the reading.
And they are there after the reading.

Just like the sun.

Sometimes we see them clearly. Sometimes the clouds are in the way.

But perhaps we can still know they are there—and continue to enjoy the warmth of love, on both cloudy and sunny days.
