2026: From Doing to Being — A Year of Divine Beginning
by Susan Fiandach and Connie Wake
As psychic-mediums, we dwell in aspects of our spiritual selves, through metaphysical concepts such as numerology, astrology, etc. We see and experience spiritual connection in our reading services and see how recognizing patterns of expression can further our individual growth in our being.
Numerology is the study of number patterns as they express themselves through our life experiences. Much like planetary patterns in astrology, numbers reveal cycles of growth—personal, collective, and cosmic—and offer a trail we can follow with intention.
When we add the digits of 2026 (2 + 0 + 2 + 6), we arrive at 10—a number of completion. Reduced further, 10 becomes 1, the number of beginnings. This makes 2026 a “1 year”: the initiation of a new cycle of growth and experience.
Traditionally, a new year invites goal-setting, resolutions, and plans—efforts focused on doing: changing habits, achieving outcomes, measuring progress. While these impulses are natural, a “1 year” also offers something subtler and more powerful.
To understand this, we must reflect on what came before.
From Completion to Conscious Beginning
The year 2025 carried the energy of the number 9—a cycle of completion. Nine-year patterns are about closure: finishing chapters, resolving relationships, releasing what no longer fits. Often, we emerge from a “9” year wiser, more honest, and more aware—yet also unsure of what comes next.
The purpose of a “1” year is not to rush forward, but to carry the wisdom, courage, and strength gained into a new version of ourselves. This beginning is less about constructing a future and more about recognizing who we are now.
The Invitation of 2026: Being Before Doing
In 2026, we are invited not to set new goals immediately, but to sit quietly and allow insight to surface—to let wisdom “bubble up” into the next level of consciousness. This is a year for orientation rather than acceleration.
Questions arise naturally in this space:
• Who am I now?
• What truly matters to me?
• What strength do I recognize and trust?
• Is this strength solely mine—or does it come from something greater?
That final question is pivotal. It asks whether we see ourselves as standing alone, or as participating in a greater reality—God, Spirit, Source, Love, Truth—however we name it.
If we acknowledge something greater than ourselves, another question follows:
What kind of relationship can I have with this greater Presence?
God as the Ground of Being
This relationship becomes the foundation of 2026. Rather than striving to become someone through effort alone, we begin by understanding our position in God—who we are in relationship to the Divine. From there, everything else unfolds.
If 2026 is the year we strengthen our relationship with God, the process may look like this:
1. Defining our relationship to God
Who is God to me—not by doctrine alone, but by lived understanding?
2. Aligning our thoughts and language
What does the “mind of God” mean in my life? How do my beliefs, words, and inner dialogue align with it?
3. Allowing behavior to follow being
Our daily actions naturally reflect this alignment—not to be measured, judged, or criticized, but observed with compassion and honesty.
In this way, we walk into 2026 as people who believe first—and therefore achieve.
Beingness as the Source of All Doing
Here is the heart of the message:
In 2026, our desires, goals, health, abundance, and sense of purpose do not arise from effort alone. They arise from being—from who we understand ourselves to be in God.
Doing becomes the expression of being, not the substitute for it.
And that is the true beginning this year offers.
