Curious about astrology and how it reflects your unique life patterns? This in-person and engaging three-part evening series offers a clear and practical introduction to the foundational components of astrology, helping you better understand yourself and the energetic patterns that shape your experiences.

Over the course of three 1.5-hour classes, students will explore the essential building blocks of an astrological chart. You’ll begin with the four elements—fire, earth, air, and water—learning how they express as strengths, challenges, and natural tendencies within your personality. From there, you’ll gain insight into how to recognize imbalances and apply simple strategies to bring your energy into greater harmony.

The course also introduces the planets as dynamic forces of expression, each representing different drives, motivations, and flows of energy within your life. You’ll learn how these planetary influences interact with the twelve signs of the zodiac, understood as primary energy patterns that shape how experiences are approached and expressed.

In addition, students will explore the twelve houses, which represent the various areas or “fields” of life experience—from relationships and career to personal growth and purpose. The class will also touch on aspect patterns, revealing how the relationships between planets can intensify, support, or challenge the expression of energy within a chart.

Through guided discussion and real chart examples, you’ll begin to see how all these components come together to form a meaningful and personalized map of experience.

Whether you are brand new to astrology or looking to deepen your foundational understanding, this course offers a grounded, insightful, and accessible way to begin working with astrological concepts in a practical and empowering way.

As a small education center, The Purple Door and our instructors rely on the registration process. If the minimum number of registrations is not met, the class will be cancelled/rescheduled and refunds provided. There are no refunds for registrant cancellations within 48 hours of class time; or for no-shows.
