From Survival to Synchronistic Living
by Susan Fiandach and Connie Wake
Nothing says “WITHDRAW” like a good pandemic! A funny line in a serious situation, but it is meant to recognize our physiological and emotional state during these unusual and chaotic times.
Most of us have probably spent more energy and effort on our survival senses of ourselves, and to deal with isolation and protective edicts. We are asking questions such as:
- “Do I have enough to eat, take care of myself and family?”
- “What if I lose my job?”
- “Am I or my family members at risk of death?”
- “Is my business able to survive this economic crash?”
A look at Maslov’s “Hierarchy of Needs” and you can say we are indeed involved with the two “most” needs…Physiological and Safety which deal with home, food, sleep, security, job, etc….very much the five sensory environment.
Now is a good time to re-engage all our senses, including the one that powers the synchronicity of daily life, our sixth sense. Along with good internal habits of well-being, such as meditation, quiet time reflection, journaling, yoga, and long walks, we can add listening to that small voice, the gut feeling, or “just knowing” instance.
Beyond the rational thinking of survival, we can ignite intuitive energy that syncs up with the creative flow of the universe. We add inspiration to our intention and allow things to happen for us.
“Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change.” Wayne Dyer’s powerful quote. We look forward to the universe flow of good, and not the material limitations of fear. Easy? Maybe not. Purposeful? Absolutely. But make it simple…one inspired thought at a time…check it…trust it.
Now is a good time to fire up all six cylinders of senses and inspiration…to go from survival to synchro!
