The Power of Your Spiritual Framework

Since civilization began, people have been framing their spiritual understandings…how they see the world beyond the physical…to navigate through the “whats and “whys” of life. Religions have established rules of conduct within that framework, and whether or not you believe that was for control, that’s another conversation.

This conversation is about the new-agey spiritual framework, as many people state, “I’m not religious, I’m spiritual.” which means they have chosen a less-ruled spirituality.

Or have they?

The new-agey spiritual belief arena has a lot of rules…what do so with the energy of self, soul, spirit…whether it pertains to energy healing, divination, dimensions, purpose, etc.  The internet is full of examples from “attachments” to “zombies.”

We have come to understand a framework based on life experiences, and our psychic-medium experiences. We "hang our hat" on one of the basic frameworks that have been cited. And while all the masters have provided a similar, and powerful, message, we go with Edgar Cayce’s version:

“Spirit is the Life, Mind is the Builder, and the Physical is the Result.”

This framework can be illustrated as an inverted triangle. The widest section on the top is Spirit; with Mind in the middle, balanced on the point of Physical.  You might initially think this is a precarious position, so let’s go through it.

Spirit is the Life…the largest part of this understanding is the all-embracing belief of the power of Spirit…aka our Divinity…our relationship to Universal Consciousness, God by many names, and the power we hold in the All-That-Is of that Universe. We feel that the consciousness of energy…the energy of consciousness…is intertwi

Mind is the Builder…Whned in our expression of life, both individually and universally. ether expressed as the Mind of God, or the mind of the individual, philosophy and science has proven its power, from the accounts of miracles to sheer determination of will. Again the masters have included the power of will within their understanding.  Will, intention, commitment, perseverance, grit…all engage the focus power of universal consciousness to manifest.

Mind also is the generator (repeat, generator) of the good, bad and the ugly. If the phrase “energy is neutral until directed” applies, we can also say “consciousness is neutral until directed” which says the Mind expresses what it feels it is, and where it is, and what it believes to be true. Is the universe good, bad, or ugly?  And that answer defines the rules and shapes the reality lived. Rules and rituals are a part of our living…they are good and needed…to serve you, and not be a victim of them.

The good news?  The widest part of our framework (Spirit is the Life) is the unyielding belief that we are the most powerful “I am” in the universe, defined by the superpower of free will and choice. This offers the infinite and unlimited nature of our Spirit, where anything is possible, and the mind has the opportunity to create anew.

Physical is the Result…and there it is…at the tip where “life hangs in the balance”.   We have the power to redefine and relive. Every moment of every day. This is knowing that Spirit is Life as unconditional, infinite, and unlimited. Its nature is abundance, growth, and flourishing, as seen by the expanding Universe to the unstoppable nature of Earth. After 5 mass extinction events, life has endured and does continue.

This is not to say the mind doesn’t have a shadow side, that evil does not exist…but we manage the shadow, control the evil, indeed as stronger beings, not weaker ones.

And that strength is what keeps the tip of our inverted triangle unyielding and upright. It wavers side to side, but the power of Spirit always goes back to center. If the tipping is affecting reality, re-examine the Mind rules and adjust accordingly, whether this needs to be done through professionals or a personal journey of introspection.

In the framework that shapes your spirituality, “mind” the beliefs so that you spend your energies and conscious expression IN the good, and not lost in definitions of spiritual and self-negativity.
